Privacy policy

Effective 7 September 2026

Rewen is a memory utility for recurring real-life tasks. Its privacy policy is short because the app is simple:

Your data stays on your device. Items, completion history, settings — everything you enter is stored only on your iPhone. Rewen has no servers and does not transmit your data anywhere.

No account. There is nothing to sign up for or log in to.

No analytics, no tracking, no identifiers. Rewen does not collect usage statistics, does not use advertising or analytics services, and contains no third-party code. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

No network access. The app never connects to the internet.

Details

Notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device by iOS. Their content is the name of your item and how long it has been. They are not sent through any server.

Backups. Like any app, Rewen's data is included in the backups you have set up for your iPhone (iCloud Backup or a computer backup). Those backups are governed by your own Apple account settings, not by Rewen.

Export. When you use Export data, Rewen creates a file on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where that file goes is entirely your choice.

Deleting your data. Deleting an item removes it and its history. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the phone.

Children. Rewen collects no data from anyone, including children.

Crash reports. If you opt in to sharing analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may forward anonymised crash reports to us. This is Apple's mechanism, controlled by you, and contains no personal data from Rewen.
