Add something with the + button, or pick one of the popular ideas. Give it a name, optionally an emoji, and — if you know it — how often you usually do it (its rhythm). Everything except the name is optional.

Tap Done when you do it. The card shows “Today”, and a short banner lets you undo an accidental tap for five seconds.

Did it yesterday, or last week? Open the item and use Mark done on… to pick the date. You can also long-press a card on the home screen.

Rhythm is how often you usually do something. If you don't set it, Rewen learns it after a few records and shows “usually every ~N days”. It's information, not a deadline — doing something early or late is normal.

Turn on a reminder for an item and Rewen sends one notification when the reminder interval has passed since you last did it — once, not every day. From the notification you can mark it Done or choose Remind tomorrow without opening the app.

Reminders start after the first Done: the app needs to know when you last did something before it can count from there. The reminder time for all items is set in Settings.

Not getting reminders? Check that notifications are allowed for Rewen in the iPhone Settings app, and open the item — the line under the rhythm tells you when the next reminder is due to arrive, or why none is scheduled.

Everything is stored on your iPhone only. It is included in your normal iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a computer), so a new phone restored from backup has your history.

Export: Settings → Data → Export data creates a JSON file with all your items and history, which you can save or share anywhere.

Archive hides an item from the home screen and keeps its history; find it again in Settings → Archived items. Delete (inside Edit) removes an item and its history for good, after asking you.

Deleting the app deletes all of its data from the phone.

Why can't I pick a future date? Rewen records what you did, not what you plan to do. For the future, use a reminder.

Can I change a date I got wrong? Yes — open the item and tap the entry in its history to change the date, or swipe it to remove it.

Does Rewen work offline? Always. It never uses the network.
